We Support Children and Youth to Reach Their Full Potential

What We Do

Advocacy

We advocate for child and gender-friendly policies and/community bye-laws to be instituted across
every region of the country
Empowerment Through Training and Micro-Finance Support;
We bring together beneficiaries of our programs through a series of community-based peer group
sessions where they receive informal life-skills training in a range of skills that increases their
self-worth and make them active participants in different community functions
Protection:
Our team of social workers and community volunteers provide education on gender-based violence
in vulnerable communities; monitor reported cases of child abuse and support families to seek
justice for children who become victims and/survivors of any form of violence
We also educate communities on some of the harmful cultural practices that have become
impediments to women and girls attaining their full potentials. Examples of harmful traditional
practices include female genital mutilation [FGM] Early and/forced marriage and by-laws
preventing women from attaining certain positions within their communities and/families because
of the gender.
Education:
Partner with the ministry of education and its partners to identify gaps and challenges within the
sector and either mobilise funds to intervene and address them or make recommendations to other
actors and line ministries.
How:
You are welcome to join our team of social workers and community volunteers to be part of our
direct community interventions programs.
You can donate whatever you have to enable us to continue helping and supporting our children,
women and girls deprived communities. To make donations kindly go to the “donate” button to see
details
Where:
Our goal is to be present in all the six regions of the country. This first project, however, is targeting
the Devil hole community in the western rural district
